The problem with some CD's which were shipped seems to be with the fact that the setup.exe file and the other files on the CD are in a particular directory, or folder, instead of being at the root of the drive.  This is a problem for some people but not others, and we do not know the reason for this.  However, if you have this problem and you follow these directions, you should be able to install the software.

Here is a general description of the process to install the software when you get the Error 75:

  • Open the folder containing the installation files
  • Copy these files to a new folder on your C: drive called C:\Temp
  • Run the setup.exe file from the C:\Temp folder.

Here is a more detailed description:

1. Go into My computer.  It should look something like this:

2. Double-click the CD Drive (E: in this case)

You will need to copy the contents of each folder to the C:\TEMP folder on your hard drive and then run the setup.exe program there.  We will provide an example of doing this for one folder.

3. Open the folder you are going to copy.  Let's start with MRI 2005 exam.  Double click MRI 2005 Exam:

4. Select all the files and choose Edit, Copy

5. Now, go to the C: drive and create the folder.  Open My computer and double-click the C: drive and then click File, New Folder:

Name the folder Temp:

Double-click the new folder:

6. Select Edit, Paste to paste in the files:

7. Double-click Setup.  Your files may look different:

8. This should start the installation process.  When complete, delete these files and repeat the process starting with step 3.
