Software Installation and
Licensing Procedure

Note: The instructions below assume you are purchasing and downloading the software from the HEALS website. If you are installing from a CD, please insert the CD and start at Step 3.

Step 1 - Purchase the software
Use the Add to Cart buttons on the website to select items for purchase. For physical products, such as computer CD's or books, you must enter a valid physical address where the items are to be shipped. Likewise, if you are purchasing downloadable products, you must enter a valid email address so that you may receive a receipt of your purchase. This receipt will contain an Order Number that you will need to install the software. The subject line of the email receipt will look like this: 
HEALS Customer receipt #12345678
This is the number you will need for the installer.

Step 2 - Download the installer
Once your payment is processed, you will be taken to a web page with a link to the product you have purchased. Click on the link to download the program. Once it is complete, choose Open or Run to run the installer.

Step 3 - Run the installer
The installer will present the following screen, on which you must accept the End-User License Agreement.

Click the checkbox in the middle of this screen to continue.  This will enable the bottom portion of the screen, where you will enter your Authorization Code.


Step 4 - Obtain an Authorization Code
To get your Authorization Code, open the Installation Authorization webpage of the HEALS website by clicking the "Open Authorization Web Page" button on the setup screen. You will receive this web page:


Step 5 - Enter your credentials
In the first box, enter your Order ID from Step 1.  In the second box, enter the email address you provided when making your purchase.  In the last box, enter the 5 digit number shown in blue on the setup screen, as shown in Step 3.  Click Submit to get your Authorization Code.  You should see a screen like this:


Step 6 - Complete the Installation
With the Authorization Code entered, you will be able to click the big Install button at the top of the setup screen. The software installation will then proceed.
