Preparing for Sonography Certification
For those looking to get an ARRT certification in sonography, there's no better source of review materials than HEALS Review. With decades of experience, we'll help you chart a course of study as you prepare yourself for the ARRT Sonography Certification Exam with our workbooks and practice tests. ARRT offers both primary and advanced certifications in sonography, and we can prepare you for both.
The primary certification in sonography covers patient care, the principles of ultrasound, and sonographic procedures of the abdomen, pelvis, gynecological structures, obstetrics, and other ultrasound exams. The exam also expects you to be skilled with the instrumentation of an ultrasound, and to be able to identify abnormalities in a scan. This primary certification in sonography is a prerequisite for advanced certificates in sonography, breast sonography, and vascular sonography.
The advanced certification in sonography goes into much greater depth. It covers all the topics of the primary certification (but in closer detail) and also looks more closely at image production and evaluation, as well as a more detailed review of anatomy. Generally, one will pursue an advanced certificate in sonography after working in the field for a number of years, as much of the knowledge is experiential.
No matter whether you draw your knowledge from books or from on-the-job training, you'll need some help preparing for exam day. Nobody wants to have to take their exam more than once, so make sure you're good and ready the first time. With great test prep materials from HEALS Review, you'll feel confident in the knowledge you have, and easily be able to identify where you need more studying.
